Chick Night™ International

It wasn’t long after Bonnie, Collette, and I co-founded the Hanmer chapter of Chick Night™, that we started to realize we were truly on to something BIG.    (By the way, we are pictured here from left to right – Bonnie Paquette, Colleen Kleven, Collette Caza).

We had a lot of fun creating Chick Night™ rules – starting with  how often to meet (ONCE A MONTH), what to do (MUST INVOLVE CHOCOLATE), and to insist that for one evening a month we were women, not moms (NO CHILDREN ALLOWED.)

Writing the rules gave us each a good chuckle. LIVING those rules began to have an unexpected and profound affect on each of us.

What started out as casual get-togethers soon became more important than that. We began to recognize our own value, and we got to know OURSELVES while getting to know each other.

Chick Night™ is about RELATIONSHIPS – with each other and with yourself. The more we realized this, the more we knew this needed to be SHARED with other women.

That’s when I decided to found Chick Night International™.

Right from the beginning, it was important to me that this organization be easy to join, self-directed, and totally worthwhile.

That’s why there are NO MEMBERSHIP FEES and no long, complicated forms to fill out.

YOU choose the women you would like to spend time with, and what you want to do when you are together. You and your Chicks decide what you want to get out of Chick Night™ – and then go ahead and DO IT.

Feel free to follow the 10 Rules of Chick Night™ as outlined in The Beginner’s Guide to Chick Night™…or MAKE UP YOUR OWN RULES.

The only rule I insist on is that you and your Chicks HAVE FUN!

So, here’s how this works…

1. Call up one or two or three women you would like to get together with.

2. Get together with them.

3. Give your Chick Night™ chapter a name.

4. Figure out the ground rules for your chapter.

5. Have fun!

Once you’ve been getting together for a while, please leave a COMMENT on this page. Tell us the name of your chapter, where you ladies are from, and the types of things you have fun doing together. Tell us your stories.

We would LOVE to hear from you.

In the meantime, have a GREAT Chick Night™.

Talk soon.

    Hi Colleen

Thank goodness I’m self-employed because I just spent the past 2 hours reading everything you have written on this blog site so far. (I’m a slow reader. Ha Ha.) I’ve been chuckling all along at your wit instead of completing my work. Hey, maybe there should be a chapter called “Chick Office Ladies”!

    Keep up the good work.

    Hugs Heather C.
